Here are some examples of the place cards that I really really like. Beautiful, simple and elegant! That's the way to go! At my wedding I used them as a place card/ programme/ thank you note as one. So on one side you can write a persons name and on the other side you can write a programme for the wedding (because ours was for two days, I wrote what time is the breakfast next morning, what time we will have a boat ride, etc). I also wrote thank you for being here with us. Some people make place cards and menus as one. That also can be a good idea if you are trying to save your costs on printing (and save the planet!).
